Blondie Chaplin, im Südafrika der 60er Jahre, als "irischer Zulu" aufgewachsen, schafft er
es mit seiner Band "The Flames" zu großer Bekanntheit. Schließlich verläßt die gesamte
Band auf Grund der Apartheit das Land und siedelt sich in London an.
Carl Wilson holt den Ausnahmesänger in seine Band – The Beach Boys. Auf den
Alben "So Tough", sowie "Holland" erkennt man Blondie´s Songwriter-Qualitäten, der
Sound der Band wird R´B-lastiger. Nach einem Streit mit dem Management verläßt
Chaplin die Band um mit Keith Richards sein Album "Wingless Angels" einzuspielen.
Seit "Bridges to Baylon" ist er fixes Mitglied der Rolling Stones. Neben dieser Tätigkeit
taucht der Musiker immer mal wieder bei mitlerweile legendären Songwriter-Sessions
auf.
Auf seinem letzten Album "Between Us" (Big Karma Rec.) zeigt der Ausnahmekünstler
(er ist auch ein anerkannter Maler) wieder einmal seine Qualitäten als Songwriter,
Gitarrist und Sänger.
Bei diesem Meeting der Songwriter wird von spannenden Solo-Nummern, über Duo-
Versionen von Corinne West und Blondie, bis zu Band-Arrangements die gesamte
Palette des Genre geboten. Und wie man den exzentrischen Musiker kennt, wird auch
noch anständig gerockt werden – schließlich kann er ja nicht verleugnen, daß er ein
richtiger Rolling Stone ist, und das schon seit über 15 Jahren.

DAN REED
is probably best known as the lead singer of American Funck/Rock band 'The Dan Reed network', who were discovered by the legendary Bill Graham in a club in Portland Oregon and then signed to Polygram. They released three albums to much critical and commercial success between 1988 and 1992. The band had the honor of opening for such bands as RUN DMC, UB40, David Bowie and Bon Jovi's 1990 European New Jersey Tour, eventually becoming the supporting act for the Rolling Stones' 1991 Urban Jungle European tour. Dan later moved into screenplay writing, acting, and became a partner of the OHM nightclub in Portland, Oregon. He gave up playing concerts for a few years but was inspired to start composing songs again after an extended stay in Dharamsala, India in 2005. Since then he has released a solo album entitled "Coming Up For Air", and has been busy performing, both solo and with a full band, all over Europe and the USA, including 2010 and 2011 Sweden Rock Festival and 2011's Download Festival in England. Dan's hallmark as a performer and writer is his unique soulful voice combined with insightful lyrics, and his ability to bond with live audience.

JUSTIN LAVASH
has been working in music for more than twenty years. After his English indie rock group (title of band in half quotes 'title') disbanded in 1990, Justin moved to France and started performing in local venues, playing blues and busy learning finger style guitar from Marcel Dadi albums as well as learning some Chanson Francaise. He then moved back to London and started working on the burgeoning jazz scene of the early 90s. After that he found himself performing on cruise ships, backing stars of yesteryear in cabaret venues, session playing and transcribing. The strange mixture of styles that this work exposed him to began to show in the songs he was writing (mostly for his own amusement). Justin has released three CDs entitled "Harder and Harder", "Fits and Starts", and "Slide" which have sold all over Europe. Currently living in Prague he has worked and played with several key players in the Czech music scene: Monika Naceva, Vladimir Merta, DG307 and contributed to CDs by Sunflower Caravan and recently Lenka Dusilova. A guitarist with a unique style and weathered voice of a time gone by, Mr. Lavash carves songs from many genres while holding the listener in suspense and awe with his most intense guitar playing.
